Words are difficult right now...This place is simply unbelievable.
The flight into Bali was epic enough, passing over smoldering volcanoes and heading inland with a new swell movement bringing 8-10 foot (3 metre) waves to the Peninsula. We found a great place in Legian called 'Su's Cottages' to stay at which is a 5 min walk to the beach and surrounded by lovely restaurants and cool little shops. After a great pizza dinner we hit the sack early and woke up early to fantastic weather and a fresh start - No Ramadan, No need to be fully clothed and just the freedom to enjoy the beauty Bali possesses. Which is a LOT!
We have strolled the beaches, Motorbiked around to the world famous surf breaks, visited temples such as Tanah Lot and eaten and spent lots of money (which actually isnt much hahaha)!

Right now were in Ubud, Bali's 'Cultural Centre' and chilling like crazy. We have seen a 'Kecak' Dance last night which blew us away. 50 guys chanting and surrounding a beautiful female dancer who struggles to find her true love after she is kidnapped by an evil King. Wonderful stuff.

Shireen is busy now getting massaged so im doing the admin :) Payback time is tomorrow though as we plan to head back to Legian and surf/chill/relax for the next 5 days and try to spend a little less money. hmmmmm
